Christ the Preacher
As in all the churches of the saints, 34 the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. 35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. 36 Or was it from you that the word of God came? Or are you the only ones it has reached?
1 Corinthians 14:33b-36

Christ the Preacher
God made Adam the preacher. He set an order to creation. God is at the top and then the heavenly beings. Next comes Adam then Eve. Still under them is the whole rest of the creation: the animals and plants and inanimate things. The Lord puts Adam to the task of proclaiming and teaching. He gave his Word to him and Adam is expected to use the Word not only to teach (hence how the Holy Spirit created faith), but he was also to use that Word as a weapon against the very enemy of God that would come upon them. The Word is a sword and a mighty one at that. Adam and Eve's marriage is like every other marriage in this life: they all show the true and eternal marriage that is Jesus and his Church. Adam and every husband stands in the Jesus position. Eve and every wife in the Church position. Then in the Church, the Church selects a man to stand in the place of Jesus and preach to the bride, the Church. A man stands for Jesus and that same sword that is the Word of God is preached and taught against the devil and all his minions. It is through preaching that God preserves you and forgives you.
