Unsearchable
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Unsearchable
We live in an age that says everything is knowable. That we can find an answer to every mystery. But when faced with the reality of God’s love and mercy, we are at a loss to completely understand them. In ways beyond our understanding, God has acted in mercy to bring salvation to Jews and Gentiles. Human beings cannot exchange roles with God, presuming to sit in judgment of Him. But we in whom His Spirit dwells praise Him for His inexhaustible kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. It is to God alone, our triune Lord, that all glory belongs forever.
