Walk in Love

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Ephesians 4:1–6

Walk in Love
Once you were not a people of God. You did not care about his gifts or his work among you. You did not care about his people, but you were curved in on yourself. But, now, like Paul, you are a prisoner for the Lord. He has changed your heart and your eyes. He has planted faith in you. His Holy Spirit dwells in you. He has placed you in homes and families. You have Christian neighbors, friends... they are your brothers and sisters. All this as he binds you together in a bond of peace by the work of that Holy Spirit. This one Lord calls you to faith in Jesus Christ alone. He claims you in your Baptism. He does it to you that you would have a God and a Father. Indeed, by the blood of Jesus, that Baptism, that faith, that Holy Spirit has given you the true God and Father. You live forever with him in peace.
