I'm New

Welcome from the Congregation!

Jesus invites us to come to Him with our burdens and the weariness of life. He also invites us to come and celebrate His forgiveness and love. So too, His people at Bethlehem welcome you to join us in coming to Jesus and rejoicing in His love. We are glad you are visiting our website today. Our sincere prayer is that the service provided at Bethlehem would build you up in Jesus. We also pray that you would enjoy friendship in Christ among us. If you have any questions about our services or anything else here at Bethlehem, please contact us. If you have any questions about the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and for what we stand, please let us know.
For those who do not have a church home, we invite you to consider Bethlehem. We have adult information classes, starting as needed. We have an excellent Sunday School and Youth Program. We have men's and women's groups and activities for people of all ages. Come and join us in following the invitation of Jesus.

What To Expect

The Lutheran Church is a liturgical church. That means that the basic pattern of our worship is drawn from services that have been used by Christians for many centuries, all across the world. The components of the liturgy come from the Bible and serve to focus our worship on the Word of God and our response to it in faith.  Our liturgy is filled with hymns and responsive songs.  At every service, you will receive a pre-printed bulletin that will guide you through the service from our hymnal.

FAQ

Where should I park?
You are welcome to park anywhere you like. Just fill in next to the other cars.

Someone in my family needs special assistance, what should I do?
Please let us know if someone in your family needs special assistance.  We are happy to assist them in getting into the sanctuary and if need be, bring Communion to them.

Are young children and infants welcomed in your service?
We believe that the rhythms of the liturgy and the Word of God speaks to all ages, from infants to adults.  Therefore, we welcome the presence of children in all our services.  If there is a children's sermon on the Sunday you visit, they are welcome to come forward to join all the other children in the congregation on the chancel steps. We firmly believe and fully embrace the idea that the sounds of a healthy church are babies crying and men singing.

How can I join Bethlehem Lutheran Church?
If you are currently a member of a LCMS congregation and in good standing, we can transfer your membership. If you are coming from a different denominational or faith background, please contact our Pastor to speak with him about becoming a member.

What about Communion?
If you are not yet a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, we respectfully request that you talk to our Pastor before communing with us during the worship service.
