Bethlehem Lutheran Church Auxiliaries

Men's Club

The Men's Club is a service organization of the congregation's men that supports and aids in both financial and spiritual needs. Formerly associated with Lutheran Laymen's League (LLL) and closely associated with Lutheran Hour Ministries.

Bringing Christ to the Nations—and the Nations to the Church

Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML)

The LWML is an active service organization of the women of the congregation that contributes spiritually, as well as aiding in care for our elderly members and college students. They are associated at the local, state, and national levels with the synod-wide LWML.

Bethlehem's pastor, Rev. Mark Moldenhauer, is the current Senior Pastoral Counselor for the LWML Texas District, having a term of 2018-2022.

Youth League

Utilizing our youth to set an example, we will represent God's love to our Congregation, Community, and the World!

As an active part of the ministry at Bethlehem, our youth combine fun, fellowship, and service. They meet often to uphold one another spiritually and support the congregation.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4: 12)

Bethlehem Brass, Etc.

Formed in 1991 at the request of Pastor Gilbert Franke, the Bethlehem Brass, Etc. has been providing music for special indoor and outdoor worship services since that time. Membership has been comprised of both amateur and professional musicians. Student musicians come and go as they progress through school, yet the group has also had a stable core membership throughout the years, ensuring a succession of special musical worship.

4Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! 5Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! 6With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord! (Psalm 98: 4 - 6)

When this group performs in worship services, it is usually joined by church organist Ann Sommer, and periodically, by percussionist Dax Flisowski.
